ROV-in-a-Box Project Kit

• Kit includes all parts needed to build a working underwater robot, including frame, sealed underwater color camera and light, props, motors, tether, operator control box, sealed lead acid battery, switches, connectors, inline fuse, labels, ballast, split-loom tubing, and more.
• 100-foot tether upgrade includes a second battery for 12V/24V operation.
• Schematic diagrams and photo-filled instruction manual describe the assembly process step-by-step.
• Independent left and right thrusters provide exceptional control and zero-radius turning.
• Independent lift thruster takes the ROV up and down quickly.
• Underwater camera video output through an included RCA connector plugs into a TV monitor or composite video-to-USB adapter (not included)
• Underwater light illuminates even the darkest of surroundings so that the ROV can engage in night missions.
• Works in fresh and salt water.
• Kit is highly customizable.  Easily add your own GoPro and/or instrumentation, extend the tether, or redesign for your specific purpose.  Our kits have been modified for such things as mapping the ocean floor, water sampling, light intensity studies, car retrievals, search and rescue, tank and boat inspections, and ice fishing.
• Designed for ages 12 and up. Adult supervision recommended.
• PVC cement, tools, battery charger, and monitor not included.
