Wiimote Scout Requirements:

One Windows laptop with Bluetooth capability*
Six Nintendo Wiimotes
Wiimote Scout and Wiimote DB Analyzer software

Wiimote Scout Features:

Wiimote controllers are $40 per unit and may already be owned.
Batteries last for the entirety of the competition.
Data is automatically collected in a single database.
Class 2 Bluetooth allows Scouts to be up to 10 m away from the laptop.
The first Scout to advance to the next match vibrates the other five Scouts.
SQL Database analysis is instantaneous. Goodbye, Excel macros!

Original Scout Features Remain:

Plenty of memory for all matches.
Data remains stored when power is off.
Eliminates the need for paper and pencils. Scout is eco-friendly!

Data Recorded During Each Match:

Setup Mode: Event name, match number, alliance, team number, robot starting position
Autonomous Mode: Top/middle/bottom shots attempted and made, bridge action, plus spectacular flag
Teleop Mode: Top/middle/bottom shots attempted and made, assists, defense, penalties, time upsidedown, plus spectacular flag
Endgame mode: Endgame action, number of robots on bridge, and spectacular flag

**Each button press records the robot action plus a timestamp so that robot actions may be graphed as a function of match time

Analysis Software Features:

Raw Data and Rankings:
Raw Data is directly editable.
Raw Data and Rankings Table columns may be reordered.
Data may be sorted by any column in ascending or descending order.
Rows are automatically shaded to show changes in the sorted column.
Rankings include minimum, average, maximum points per game, and
     +/- 3-sigma scores.
Three red and three blue teams may be highlighted in Rankings data.
Custom scaling may be applied to data to highlight most desirable abilities.
Strategy sheets with team summaries and field maps are printable.

Timelines:
Graphs show robot actions over the course of the match.
Pie charts show percentage of times the robot takes each action.
Timeline data may be viewed by match or by team.
